Privacy policy

Zadachnik is a personal task manager. It is run by a private person, not a company. In short: your data is yours, it is used only to make the site work for you, it is not sold or shown to anyone, and you can download or delete it at any time.
Questions about your data: 19arrow19@gmail.com.
What is stored
- Account: username, email address, password — only in a form that cannot be turned back into the password; two-step sign-in keys if you turn it on.
- What you add: tasks with the history of their changes, subtasks, notes, files, categories, tags, the quick note draft.
- Settings: language, reminders, the Telegram chat for reminders, the Google Calendar connection (the access key is stored encrypted), links to Google Sheets — only what you turn on.
- Messages from “Report a problem”: the text, the screenshot if you add one, the page and the browser — the site owner reads them to answer you.
- Security: failed sign-in attempts (the name entered and the IP address) — to stop password guessing; they are deleted after one day.
Why
Only to run the site for you: to show your tasks and notes, to count your statistics, to send the reminders you turned on and to protect your account. No ads, no selling of data, no tracking or analytics services.
Who sees it
Other users never see your data.
Task descriptions, note texts, files and your messages to us are stored encrypted: a stolen copy of the database or of the files cannot be read without the key. Titles of tasks, notes and subtasks, categories, tags and file names are not encrypted — sorting, statistics and reminders need them.
The site's admin panel shows only service information about you — how many tasks, notes and files you have — not their contents. To be honest: the key is on the server, so that the site can show you your texts, which means that the site owner, with full access to the server, could technically decrypt them. The owner does not do this and looks at your data only at your request, for example to fix a problem you reported.
Other services get data only when you use them:
- Google and GitHub — if you sign in with them (we receive your name and email address);
- Google Calendar and Google Sheets — if you connect them;
- Telegram — if you turn on reminders there;
- the email service that delivers our emails (reminders, password reset);
- the hosting company where the server runs.
Where and for how long
The server is located in: Germany (European Union).
Your data is kept while your account exists. What you delete goes to the trash and is erased after 30 days. Backups of the database are kept for 14 days, encrypted copies outside the server — for 8 weeks; after you delete your account, your data disappears from them within this time.
Your rights
- See and download everything: “Settings → My data” — one archive.
- Correct: everything you added can be changed at any time.
- Delete: “Settings → My data → Delete account” — at once and for good.
- Ask a question or object: write to 19arrow19@gmail.com. You may also complain to the data protection authority of your country.
Cookies
Only the necessary ones: to keep you signed in, to protect forms from forgery and to remember the language. The light or dark theme is remembered by your browser. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so the site does not ask for consent.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too; about important changes you will get an email.
